Wowowowow! This was a timely word. Thank you for being vulnerable and giving us a kind word to take with.

I’ve probably said it on every post but I’m extremely proud of you. For showing up, for striving for the quality and craftswomanship you desire, and for sharing the journey with the people who love you most. I’m so glad they get to experience a glimmer of what I have the joy of experiencing daily 😘💓

Thank you my love. I’m just a vessel sharing what I’m learning and experiencing and hoping that it resonates with someone else.

As I too say on every newsletter, I’m so glad to be learning all of these things and creating fun stuff with you every day!

Thank you, Sue! Merry Christmas to you as well. I’ve been drawn to color work and cables lately so I’m hoping to face those in the new year.

Tashay, you are such an amazing person. I tried my best to raise you to be smart, loving, kind, intelligent, intellectual woman that would stand out from the rest, you continue to surprise me each and everyday. You have super exceeded all my expectations and I’m so proud of you beyond words!!!!

Thank you mother 🥰, you’re my favorite mother ever! You also did a fine job raising me, if I do say so myself.

I am quite late to the party, but have to say it is a stunning first sweater. Love it. Those three techniques are best additions to a knitter's toolbox. Very well done, Tashay. And how lovely is that message you shared. Thank you.

Never too late for this party, Kavitha! Thank you for the compliments, I am very pleased with the sweater and rather impressed if I do say so myself.

Very impressive. This must have been the crown jewel you were keeping close to your vest around the holiday. Kudos to you. I must say this takes more than sbowing up and all of that YOU GOT my dear. I hope you are getting much pleasure and comfort out of creating these pieces as I am seeing your finish products.

Yep, that’s the crown jewel! I wore it to dinner last week and it looked amazing, I told someone that I made it and they were stunned. I am definitely getting an immense amount of pleasure from sharing my creations, and appreciate that others are loving the finished products as well.

Love this! I learned the basics of knitting as a kid but lately I have started trying to actually make things I want. This is inspiring 😊

Rebekah, thank you for reading and I’m glad I could be of encouragement! I wish you the best of luck on your renewed knitting journey, I hope you’ve been having fun. What’re some things you’ve been making?

Well, on Halloween, I whipped out a pair of mittens for my then five month old baby after realizing he had zero warm mittens, and there was snow forecasted for trick-or-treating 😂 And I started a sweater and a little pair of knit pants for him. I have a pattern for the sweater, but not for the pants so they are both adventures in different ways!

Great job! I've only ever made a sweater on a loom. Maybe one day I'll attempt it on some needles.

Thank you! I assure you it’s possible and requires little more than basic knitting skills

I've been knitting for years, so I'm confident I can do it. I just have so many other projects I want to do first. LOL But I love seeing everyone's knitted projects on Substack and it's so awesome you dove right in to it. =D

Ah yes the age old problem of too many projects, not enough time 😂
