yay! Fellow fiber crafter here, my craft has been crochet for about 13 years because I couldn’t get the hang of knitting. In case you haven’t seen it yet, I’ve found ravelry dot com to be a good resource for free, well-tested patterns. It’s a whole community with good & bad folks, but I just take what I can use and leave the rest. Anyway I look forward to your knitting journey here!
Knitting is tricky, kinda wish I’d started with crochet but hindsight is 20:20! I’m happy to say I’ve had a bit of success in the last two weeks. I was actually on Ravelry earlier today looking for my next project 😊, so many good patterns there. I also signed up for a knitting group at the library.
Thanks for reading and engaging with my post. I look forward to chatting more
Inspiration this process seems as though if it’s going to be difficult but the greatest reward is in your willingness to keep going. I appreciate you sharing. I still haven’t started any hobbies. I want to start skating or swimming again this is motivating me. Thank you!
You have to give yourself Grace! I started knitting when I was 22 yrs old. Love it!
Everyone, talked about me. They said only old people knit. I love it. Only after becoming so busy with my new life… baby, husband and etc., I slowing stop knitting. I started crocheting about 10 yrs ago. I love it. Then, I stop crocheting for about 5 yrs. I gave all my knitting needles away, and started back crochet big about 2 yrs ago. Keep trying
There is support out here. There are Guilds that you can join and the ladies will help you with learning to be proficient. I send you some information … for support very soon.
I finished part of a knitting project last night and felt so good about it! I made considerable progress but am still struggling getting a grasp of properly holding the needles and yarn. I know that it’ll come with more time and practice though so I plan to keep going
Thank you for reading...again! Yep, the fabric tags will be in your linen towels 😂.
Knitting is challenging, I cannot deny that at all! I’ve been making good progress though and can’t wait to share in the next newsletter 😊

A trick for starting is signing up for a class or something that you can’t get out of! The accountability helps
Great ! Stay determined.

The piano tune sounds good. I enjoyed it. And I know it wasn't easy.
The fabric tags made by your wife, LOVE! Will they be placed on my linen towels as well? :)
Knitting looks dangerously hard, but looking forward to the sweater in a few months.
Thanks for sharing. You just may inspire something.
