I loooove Gaudi’s style too! Happy to hear the holidays have been good to you. That pound cake looks 🔥. I’ll have to request some baked goods during my annual trip.

Hey Hey Lovely, I am late, but it was worth the wait. You closed out the year with a bang. I love your life for you and Datrianna. Let's start wigth Spain. Sagrada Familia looks hella scary in photos. Just because you said so I will be going to Spain one day. My girlfriend Katrina, eats Pho 3 days a week. I have been hearing about Pho for months now. Looking forward to tasting it. Toronto. Seems like a easy trip to make. I will add to the list. That looks like a Coogi sweater at the Art Gallery LOL. Your cake photographed well, glad to hear they taste as well as they look. I shall compare pound cake recipies one day. I have the recipe your Grandma Lois used to make her cream cheese pound cakes. Love the TGM personalized baking dish. Your cable swatch looks perfect. I love a good cable. I gonna need a custom from you. When you start taking orders, put me in Coach. I too am wishing you and Datrianna a continuous adventurous, prosperous and healthy. Love you

We did indeed close the year out with a bang! Lots of great travel and time with family and friends.

I assure you Sagrada Familia is stunning! The outside does it no justice; in real life the outside is beautiful but the inside is breath taking.

If Katrina eats pho 3xs a week then she's a woman with good taste! Pho is absolutely delicious and one of Datrianna's favorite dishes, though I'm more partial to ramen.

Yep, that sweater tapestry on the wall was absolutely a nod to Coogi. I just learned that the brand was founded in Australia which I never would've guessed!

Oooh I would love to have that pound cake recipe. My mother talks all the time about how good Grandma Green's cooking was! I used sour cream in my cake but have also heard cream cheese makes a good cake.

I lost a bit of steam on the cabled cardigan and haven't made much progress but I'm hoping to pick it back up this week.

I'm wishing you a joyful 2025, I hope it's full of new adventures for you! I love you too!

Thank you Jodie! I’ve never knit a cabled garment before, gotta say I’m a little nervous but what the heck 🤷🏽‍♀️. I’m wishing you and your family a Happy New Year!

Are you going to use a cable needle or rearrange the stitches? Your swatch turned out well and truly, with amount of cables you'll be knitting for that design you'll be an ace at creating cables! :)

I’m planning to use a cable needle, at least for now. I don’t really trust myself to have free floating stitches.

That makes sense. It is a little scary at first dropping stitches in order to rearrange them. I'd recommend giving it a go, as it does get easier with practice. :)

Good on you Tashay for finding time to post while traveling and taking in the holidays! Baking looks like it might be your calling! Yummo!! Personally love moist chocolate cake with vanilla icing. Pound cake with a good cup of coffee... is a little bit of heaven! Wishing you the best with a little Zip in 2025!

Thank you Sandy! I’ve really been enjoying baking, though I think I’ll put the sweet bakes to rest for a while to try my hand at bread again. Stay tuned for how that goes lol. Wishing you and yours well in 2025!
